A pupillage under designer Paul Smith led Ornette to studying film at the National Film & Television School. After winning many short film awards, he quickly established himself in the advertising world with his authentic and carefully observed films - he’s known for being able to elicit natural and heartfelt performances from his cast, no matter their age or experience level. Even with animals, his Kinsale award-winning film for Ibis Hotels (snuggling bunnies) achieved over 10m hits in the first few weeks. A passionate environmentalist, his Waste Awareness & Rethink HS2 campaigns garnered many awards and accolades, amongst his other notable awards from Shots, Adfest and numerous International Film Festivals.
